Engineering & Design Division

Formerly known as Applied Engineering and Design Co., the Engineering & Design Division -- referred to as E&D -- was incorporated to streamline the design and manufacture of proprietary tools and materials used by our contractors in the Construction Division. In an effort to maximize sustainability in homes built by the Construction Division, E&D conducts its own testing of common homebuilding materials and develops new, experimental, materials based on the findings of these tests. 

With the launch of the Construction Division's Construction Quarterly, Engineering & Design will be contributing the results of its materials testing, as well as share news of new material development. Outside of material testing and development, Engineering and Design also creates new, proprietary, tools for use by our contractors in the field, who are also large contributors to the conception and design of these tools. Currently Essential Industrials tools are not available to the public, however this may change in the future when final designs are found and patented.
